I was born and raised in Greece. After my graduation I traveled the world and discovered my passion for manual therapy. Back in Germany where I was living in Berlin, I heard about Osteopathy for the first time and was immediately inspired. While studying Osteopathy it quickly became clear to me that I had found my calling.
As an Osteopath it is important to me to see every individual as a whole. In consideration of the three osteopathic principles I take into account the muscles, ligaments, bones and fascia but also the structures of the inner organs and of the nervous system. Besides the treatment of acute and chronic pain it is of great importance to me to activate a long-lasting self-healing process. To accompany the treatment, I like to give exercises for your daily routine at the end of the appointment.
Besides my work with patients of every age, the support of infants, kids and pregnant woman is of great concern to me. Soon I will complete my studies in becoming an osteopath for children and I happily welcome infants and children.
Further and constant training in various topics is very important to me and essential in order to be able to offer you a comprehensive and competent treatment.

Osteopathy

´´Life is movement, movement is life´´

At the end of the 19th century Osteopathy, a holistic therapy method in which you use your hands as a diagnostic and therapeutic tool, was founded by the US-American land doctor Andrew Taylor Still.
Osteopaths are trying to figure out the source of the health complaints rather than treating individual symptoms. So we are trying to address the cause and not illnesses.
If the body loses its ability for self-regulation, various diseases and disorders can occur. It´s here where Osteopathy tries to mobilize the self-healing powers of the body through manual techniques.
Osteopathy consists of the following three main pillars:

Parietal Osteopathy

The examination and treatment of muscles, joints, bones, ligaments and fascia are the main elements of this pillar.

Cranio-sacral Osteopathy

Here the movement of the individual cranial bones, the sacrum, the corresponding liquids, the cord skin and the nervous system is essential.

Visceral Osteopathy

In this pillar of osteopathy we focus on the inner organs and their surrounding structures.
In every osteopathic treatment all three pillars are considered and by following the anatomical links we can discover cause-reaction chains which then can be addressed and treated.

Treatment plan

    • At the first appointment we are going to start with a detailed anamnesis interview which will include physical, mental and social aspects and we will discuss your current symptoms. Gladly you can bring any diagnostic findings, MRT- and/or X-ray images.
    • What follows is a physical examination on the basis of which I´m going to create an individual treatment plan which suits you and your specific needs. Finally we will start the treatment with manual techniques.
    • During the examination and treatment it is often necessary to be in your underwear, so wear something that you feel comfortable in.
    • The treatment lasts from 45-55 minutes.
    • At the first appointment we will make a treatment contract which you can find below. If you like you can already read it and bring it signed to your first appointment.

Costs and Reimbursement
through health insurance

The billing follows the fees regulation for alternative practitioners in Germany (Heilpraktiker). The costs for the osteopathic treatment can partly be covered by some health insurances. For that to happen you will most likely need a private prescription from your family doctor or ENT specialist. Please inform yourself ahead of treatment regarding the conditions of your health insurance. I fulfill all necessary requirements for a cost reimbursement from health insurances. Here you can find a list of health insurances and their individual conditions. Here (Link: https://www.osteopathie.de/service-krankenkassenliste)
I run an appointment-based practice which means that your appointments are binding. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment please do so at least 48h ahead. For appointments that were not canceled properly and in a timely manner I will have to charge a compensation fee of 60€. Thank you for understanding. Every session costs from 90-95 € and I prefer if you pay after every appointment. You can pay by card in the practice or if that’s not possible for you, you can transfer the amount within 14 days.
